On the occasion of the International Open Access Week 2020 (October 19 – 25, 2020) Thomas Hartmann held an online workshop on the topic of author‘s rights for open access on October 20, 2020. Upon invitation by Hamburg Open Science he explained the copyright and contract law framework conditions for different ways of publication. Scientific authors and editors received recommendations and had an opportunity to discuss key issues to be considered for open access.
