PSCU Secures Data for Millions of Credit Union Customers with FireEye

The company offers industry-leading credit, debit and prepaid card services – as well as online banking and innovative bill payment options – to more than 18 million credit union members.

To ensure the continued integrity of its data, PSCU looked to partner with a security company that was considered preeminent in the marketplace. FireEye’s forward-thinking leadership and ability to offer a full suite of integrated services and solutions made it the logical choice.

PSCU engages FireEye’s Mandiant security experts to perform regular penetration testing. Mandiant is also contracted to perform a deep dive into critical services and infrastructure components to verify performance and identify potential problems. PSCU utilizes the findings to enhance defense hardening and strategic planning.

PSCU also deployed FireEye Network Security (NX series) to provide real-time protection against threats originating from internet, operating system and application-related vulnerabilities. NX incorporates the signature-less FireEye Multi-Vector Virtual Execution (MVX) engine, and leverages its industry-leading intrusion prevention system to provide intelligence-driven detection.
