"Our York Open Research Awards scheme provides an inclusive opportunity to celebrate projects and advocacy initiatives across a variety of disciplines, recognising work which encourages dialogue, reflection and broader thinking about some of the issues involved in open research and its implementation. The 2022 awards were organised in collaboration between the University Open Research Advocates, Operations and Strategy Groups, with support from UKRI Research England funding to enhance research culture. Each awardee will receive a prize of £200 and we are working with them to develop advocacy and training materials based on their work.
