"...The Applications Development and Integration (ADI) department manages library application infrastructure and provides technology services that directly support the UO Libraries and university missions. These services include application management, maintenance, and support. ADI partners with and supports technology need-intensive library units such as Digital Scholarship Services (DSS), Data Services (DS), and Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA). ADI provides administrative management and technical support for the libraries' web presence and web-based services, applying user experience principles and strategies. ADI librarians use web and application design principles to support search, discovery, and delivery of the libraries' collections in all formats. They provide oversight and configuration of the libraries' enterprise-wide software applications, including Alma/Primo. ADI developers develop, design, integrate, and maintain custom applications to support workflows, and support vended and open-source software (OSS) solutions. Position Summary: This position provides high-level programming and technological solutions for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of UO Libraries’ open source and vended software products with a specific focus on supporting user-facing digital collections, digital research projects, web applications, and database-driven websites...."
