Summary:

CONCLUSION: Organ transplant patients have significantly greater risk for developing post-operative complications like anemia, ARF, need for higher transfusion rates, prosthetic dislocations, wound dehiscence, and deep SSI following THA. The length of stay, total expenditure incurred and mortality were also higher in OT patients undergoing THA.
