Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) within microRNAs (miRNAs) and their target binding sites can influence miRNA biogenesis and target regulation, thereby participating in a variety of diseases and biological processes. Current miRNA-related SNP databases are often species-limited or based on outdated data.
