"Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean for Library and Technology, the Digital Initiatives Librarian coordinates with the Law School’s web developer, Law Library staff and the Communications Department of the Law School to design, develop and implement technologically innovative services and applications and web-based access to information resources. Digital projects may include, but are not limited to library website design, building interactive experiences through websites and mobile apps, enhancing the Law School’s robust Scholarship Repository, creating additional digital repositories and virtual tours. Typical duties and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversees and produces library web content, including the exams database, the ballot measures database, and related law library initiatives; develops related best practices and procedures;
- In coordination with the Faculty Services Librarian, continues to develop and maintain the law school Scholarship Repository (a Digital Commons-based platform);
- Monitors and investigates emerging technologies related to the delivery of library services and digital collections, and assists in the development and deployment of these new technologies; [...] "
