What is Jisc doing to support implementation of UKRI’s open access policy?

"“Building on our existing activities and tools, we will be working collaboratively with researchers, research offices, libraries and publishers on a number of key priorities. These include rapidly scaling up sustainable, affordable open access (OA) agreements to provide UKRI-funded researchers and publishers with ubiquitous access to compliant routes to publish. We will also provide tools for authors and research organisations to navigate available OA options, improve workflows and automate reporting. Finally, the path ahead isn’t smooth and the importance of a collaborative approach cannot be overstated. We will be working with UKRI and stakeholders across the research sector to address any challenges associated with the implementation of the policy, to share and develop best practice, and deliver support.”
