2023 North Korea DB Forum

On 29 November 2023, the Korea Institute for National Unification, a South Korean government-funded think tank with a focus on Korean reunification, launched the first '2023 North Korea DB Forum.' This event aimed to connect government agencies, industries, academia and research institutes to discuss the state of research data on North Korea that are generated within South Korea. The goal was to plan the establishment of a platform that makes these data widely available to researchers and the public and ensures their effective reuse.
