An Analysis of Domestic Research Trend on Research Data Using Keyword Network Analysis

This study used keyword network analysis to explore research trends on the topic of Research Data in Korean journal articles published over a 20-year span (2003-2023). It found only 58 relevant articles, highlighting limited publishing activity on this topic in domestic journals. The majority of these articles originated from the field of Library and Information Sciences, with a smaller proportion stemming from Law, Engineering, and Education. The most frequently occurring author keywords were 'research data management', 'research data sharing', 'data repository', 'open science', 'data reuse' and 'data management plan', while ‘research data quality management’ and ‘data papers’ were hardly mentioned.
