The French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Committee for Open Science have announced the opening of applications for the 2024 Open Science Thesis Prize. Applications are open from 6 May to 24 June 24, 2024.

This prize aims to reward open science practices of doctoral students. The award has 3 categories, including 'Science and Technology', 'Medicine and Health/Biological Sciences' and 'Human and Social Sciences' categories.
Eligibility conditions:
- The thesis must already be defended and published as open access;
- The defense should be no earlier than January 2018;
- Applicants are required to provide the defense report.
The winners will be rewarded a prize of €2,500.
