Summary:

In support of Open Science, the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CJFAS) team has announced a new Data and Code Availability Policy. Effective from 6 May 6 2024, this policy is a mandatory condition for publication of accepted manuscripts at CJFAS. It requires authors to make publicly available all data and code needed to reproduce the results (including code to reproduce statistical results, simulation results and figures) via an online, community-endorsed data repository that issues a DOI and open-source licenses that permit their reuse.
