On April 1, 2024, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP) published a report titled 'Horizon Europe’s Research Data Policy and Implications'. Since South Korea, the first associate member in Asia, joins Horizon Europe (HE) in 2025, the HE's research data polily was examined and compared with the current national research data policy in Korea. Implications were outlined related to the improvement of the Korean research data policy considering the HE's trends, such as mandatory Data Management Plans (DMPs).
