KONI, an LLM specialising in science and technology / Interview with the AI Research Group at KISTI, Korea

The AI Research Group at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) plans to release its generative LLM ‘KONI’, which specialises in science and technology (S&T) data, as open source in July.

Efforts are underway to jointly develop the model with various public organisations that collect and disseminate S&T information, such as the Korea Patent Information Institute, KAOS Foundation, National Assembly Library.
