"[Google Translate] The Open Access Prize of the Humboldt University of Berlin honors outstanding and exceptional achievements by members of the Humboldt University of Berlin in the field of open access, i.e. free access to research results.

With this annual award, the University Library aims to make the open access activities of researchers and publishers at Humboldt University more visible, to value them and to create connections for future projects.

The prize was established in 2020 and awarded for the first time the following year."

Applications are possible until July 1; the award ceremony takes place in November. 

The total prize budget is €5,000.
