Summary:

Abstract "[Google Translate] Research data management (RDM) is a dynamic process in which few standard solutions are possible and established. In the FDM-TUDO project, the requirements and needs of researchers in dealing with research data were collected from January to December 2018 with the aim of developing a support offer for the Technical University of Dortmund (TU Dortmund) that meets their needs. Guided interviews with 62 professors at TU Dortmund show the need for infrastructural and individual support for documenting, storing and sharing research data. The researchers primarily want individual advice, workshops and handouts. Following the project, an RDM service offering was established at TU Dortmund on the basis of the results in order to meet the requirements and needs of researchers and to develop low-threshold offers."
