Brill and Japan’s National Institutes for the Humanities Sign Cooperation Agreement

'Brill, the international academic publisher, and Japan’s National Institutes for the Humanities (NIHU) are pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement to cooperate on an Open Access book series to be entitled NIHU Studies in the Humanities. The new series will showcase monographs and edited volumes resulting from research projects conducted by Japanese and international scholars affiliated with one of NIHU’s six institutes. In order to ensure that volumes in the series reach the widest possible audience, including in developing countries, NIHU will sponsor their publication in Open Access.
