Summary:
"The ESRF data policy [Citation1] implements the principles of Open Science and FAIR data, enabling users to publish results derived from data collected at the ESRF with bespoke DOIs. The data policy guarantees that metadata are archived forever and aims to archive data for at least 10 years and longer for high-value datasets. The ESRF began implementing its data policy in 2016. A first version of the data portal was released two years later, with the e-logbook being integrated in 2019 [Citation2]. In 2023, the ESRF data repository obtained the CoreTrustSeal certification [Citation3], recognizing it as trustworthy and reliable for meeting standards in data management and preservation. In 2024, the data policy was updated taking into account the needs of the new extremely brilliant source ESRF-EBS [Citation4]. One of the main changes is the inclusion of processed data and results. In order to better manage processed data in the data portal e.g. displaying data in a technique or beamline specific manner, the portal’s UI architecture was revised to support a more flexible application. This paper describes DRAC, the second release of the ESRF data portal."
