Summary:

'On September 20th, 2023, the ORCID US Community consortium welcomed three institutions to discuss case studies on their use of ORCID at their institution, and to discuss ORCID’s value to the research lifecycle. One of these institutions was Stanford University, where Zach Chandler, Director of Open Scholarship Strategy, spoke on how Stanford has been using the ORCID Affiliation Manager tool to recognize scholars and researchers in their Open Science programs.

This blog post will introduce readers to the Affiliation Manager and showcase how Stanford University has used this tool to write awards as “distinctions” to their awardees’ ORCID records.'
