SeDOA aims to increase the efficiency of Diamond Open Access publishing in Germany through better coordination and visibility of existing, decentralised publication infrastructures, to provide key information, and to promote innovation. The project aims to firmly establish Diamond Open Access publishing within academic communication and to strengthen it as an alternative to commercial OA publishing. SeDOA forms the German Diamond Capacity Centre and, as part of the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH) network, thereby strengthens international cooperation.
