94% of journals published by Taylor & Francis / Routledge now comply with Research Councils UK (RCUK) and Wellcome Trust mandates | Cision Wire

"The Wellcome Trust and RCUK’s open access (OA) policies came into effect on 1 April 2013, and Taylor & Francis are pleased to announce that over 1,650 of the journals that we publish now comply with these mandates, over 500 of which are published on behalf of society partners. We enable funded authors to publish their materials in these quality journals on an open access basis, via either the Gold or Green OA routes to compliance: [1] Gold OA – articles are made OA on publication. An article publishing charge (APC) is applicable and authors are required by Wellcome Trust or RCUK mandate to grant a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licence. [2] Green OA – since 2002, Taylor & Francis/Routledge authors have had the right to deposit their Accepted Author Manuscript within 12 months (Science and Technology, Health and Social Care, and Behavioural Sciences) or 18 months (Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities) of publication of their final published article.
