"The meeting open data from the University of Alicante will be held on April 28, 2015 in the multimedia room of the building of the Rector of the University of Alicante. This meeting aims to publicize the concept of open data and re-use of public sector information to the university community and the general public through a series of thematic lectures including interesting aspects are included as portals open data and reuse, universities open data, open data research, legislation regarding open data and reuse, etc. This meeting will also serve to introduce the new version of open data portal of the University of Alicante, as well as its interface to re-users. In addition there will be the participation of undertakings, accelerators and entrepreneurs who show us their success stories in the reuse of open data. Finally, the contestants of applications will exhibit their projects and show their functional prototypes, in a short talk like a longer coffee break where the goal is that the meeting is also a forum for ICT entrepreneurs and investors ..."
