Open Access Network Austria publishes recommendations // ERA

A Working Group of 14 experts of the Open Access Network Austria (OANA) has drawn up a list of recommendations on how Open Access to scientific publishing can be implemented in Austria by 2025. The recommendations were published on 12 November 2015 and are currently available in German, with an English version to follow by 1 December 2015. The recommendations tie in with a number of ongoing activities. However, according to the recommendations, these activities still need to be intensified considerably, in close cooperation between research organisations, funding organisations and science policy, in order to reach the stated objective.
