[Summary] BMC Medicine recently published guidelines for sharing individual participant data in a responsible and protecting way. Sharing such data from clinical trials is important to support efficient clinical research and bring benefit to the patients. The guidelines were supported by Cancer Research UK, and here, Dan Bridge explains more about their importance.
