On 1 and 2 October 2013, the representatives of the German Open Access community came together to discuss the latest developments in the opening up of access to scientific publications. The discussions and the exchange dealt here mostly with the institutional challenges for libraries, computer centers, legal and IT departments. The following 10 points I took away from the event.
