Summary:

The HALOWIN project, scheduled to last 24 months, aims to improve interoperability between HAL and manuscript editing services by developing a technical framework that will allow the automated exchange of documents, metadata and notifications. It is based on a partnership with Peer Community In (PCI), an open platform that offers a service for recommending and evaluating preprints, and on Episciences, a platform for hosting overlay journals developed by the CCSD.  The objective is not only to identify but also to develop, deploy and test all the functionalities necessary for the interconnection between HAL and Episciences on the one hand, and HAL and PCI on the other.
